Henley was able to walk away with minor injuries, but Virginia State Police troopers say they charged Henley with reckless driving, driving on a revoked license, not wearing a seat belt, having expired tags, and not having proof of insurance.

Henley is assumed to be in a state of not giving a flying fish compared to what he got charged with just a few minutes earlier.

Yeah, he's in trouble, but even a Virginia trooper looks at that and how they're not picking the guy off the road and gave him a break.

Photos like that always make me uncomfortable. Too many good rally racers lost to guardrails...

Do you know what really pisses me off here? It's people that might quote examples like this to justify claims that it's ok to drive without a seatbelt because this person got off with just "minor injuries".

Worse— a lot of the commenters at the linked news story are talking about "God's will" and "angels" and how he was spared and now has a great purpose. That God, what a nut.

I would think that if the guy is ever allowed a license er, drives again, it's going to be like grampa. Agreed on the seatbelts.

It's alright, I have no issue with you posting it. It's news, and honestly It's good to see one of these where everyone escaped serious injury.

Hence the flying fish. I can imagine that he had to at some point just stare at that and go yep, I need to be true to Jennie Sue. Sorry, been exposed to too much country music lately.

Wow, I just saw that. I don't want to sound like an asshole, but, God had nothing to do with this. All the variables were right for him to survive.

God has a plan to get the driver with a revoked license off the road...just steer him right into a guardrail

As contrasted with the VA coal roads toward Kentucky. No guard rails. shoulder. Rocky dropoffs. Narrow road. Coal trucks. Variable patience traffic on a 2-lane.

After a few hours of that, guardrails are just some folded static tin relatively..
